Improvement Pill Social anxiety is a big problem that I know a lot of people have and I’ll be honest with you guys it was something that I struggled with a lot in high school as well as my early days of college see the reason we feel anxious especially in large groups of people we don’t know is because of what goes on in our head the moment you walk into a party you immediately think what did they whispering about what do people think about me am i acting like a fool and because of these thoughts we start feeling anxious we feel like everyone is watching us waiting for us to mess up and this was basically me every party I went to I was a nervous wreck but they all changed for me once I started reading a book called what everybody is saying it’s a book written by an ex fbi agent who teaches you how to read people by looking at their body language he teaches you things like oh if someone is crossing their arms they’re adopting a defensive position which means they either feel threatened or they’re unhappy with the situation another one is oh you can tell if someone wants to leave a conversation by the direction their feet are pointed if her feet are pointed at the door you know she wants to get out of there as soon as possible things like this and once you learn this stuff once you internalize these concepts you start noticing them more you notice how people are standing where their feet are pointed you can tell who’s nervous who’s having a good time you can kind of guess where a person’s state of mind is that and what happens next is something very very powerful instead of focusing on yourself all the time your thoughts become focused on the people around you so the next time you’re in a social gathering it’s no longer oh what are people thinking about me oh do I look awkward it becomes oh that’s interesting it looks like he’s not having a good time I wonder why or oh that’s interesting it looks like she is not very interested in him I wonder why and once your dots become focused about other people you realize that no one is really thinking about you most people are in their own head thinking about themselves and once you internalize this once you’ve proven to yourself that this is true something very special happens you realize that nobody is watching you or what you do once you internalize this concept your social anxiety can literally disappear overnight so for those of you who really struggle social anxiety start learning about body language and start watching other people I guarantee you it will change the way you think and feel around others it’s no longer going to be me me me me me it becomes you you you and funny enough when you start watching out for others when you start giving a damn about how they feel in a social situation guess what they start liking you a whole lot more stay tuned guys..

  1. This is just a method to cope with social anxiety, but the ROOT of ALL social anxiety is low self-esteem. When was the last time you saw someone with high self-esteem who had social anxiety? They don’t exist. If you want to truly get rid of social anxiety, you have to find out why you have low self-esteem, and work to improve it. That is how you TRULY get rid of it.

  2. As a person who’s been struggling with this for years, I can confirm that doing anything besides focusing on yourself can really help diminish your fears. By “anything” I mean facing your fears, most importantly. The feeling you get when you break the ice is DIVINE. This encourages you to do it more, because it felt good. It’s just like exercise; you start small with lighter weights and when you break your personal bounds of endurance, you can move onto heavier weights.

  3. I wish social anxiety was that easy to cure. I have it and I know that people aren’t paying attention to me and what I’m doing but knowing that doesn’t all of sudden make you a better conversationalist and confident. I can talk with family and few close friends and that’s it. Everybody else I feel I don’t have anything in common with. Only close friends and family can you really talk about your true feelings and desires. With everybody else it’s just chit chat about work or the weather. I don’t understand how people can be so satisfied in what they say or their opinions on things. My opinions is 1 among a billion opinions. I feel insignificant when I speak or make a statement. I’ll never escape social anxiety it looks like.

  4. As a person with social anxiety i can say this is the very thing that actually made me even more socially anxious. Understanding people and their body language made me 1. think even more about myself when talking to someone with regards to my own body language and my own expressions and 2. made me WAY more sensitive to their reactions during a conversation with me. Although i get where he’s coming from, its a bit counter-intuitive and can make it even worse with people who have very neurotic forms of social anxiety – they can easily twist it to be about them again and add to even more isolation around people.

  5. THIS IS NOT THE CURE! People with deeply rooted social anxiety, please understand that this is NOT the cure. This so-called ‘cure’ is the same as changing your thought when you feel anxious at a social event and as some people with social anxiety may noticed is that by thinking of something else when the anxiety kicks in will not remove the anxiety, it may only be postponed to a couple of minutes later. This fact is proven in the medical field and is strongly discouraged by psychologist to do when you have social anxiety. Cognitive behavioural therapy is right now the best proven way to cure social anxiety at a high rate and is used by many therapist and psychologist around the world, but you can also do it on your own. Social anxiety is difficult to cure and it will probably not be cured by this book or this technique.
